Bert-Co Pulaski takes East with New Sales Force

Pulaski, TN - July 2007 - Bert-Co, one of the largest independent manufacturers of folding cartons, point-of-purchase materials and specialty packaging in the US, kicked off the first half of 2007 by following through on their commitment to growth by adding a new sales team to the Eastern half of the United States. The primary focus of this team is to support Bert-Co's newest facility in Pulaski, TN.

According to Mike Nieman, newly appointed Sales Vice President for the team, Bert-Co's initial objective will be to cover major metropolitan areas east of the Mississippi. "With representation already in Atlanta, New York City, Charlotte and the New England area, we'll be looking next to the Midwest", says Nieman. "Customer feedback has been extremely positive, and our Account Executives are doing a great job of leveraging our 76 year history in establishing us on a national basis", he added.

Bert-Co's 112,000 square foot Pulaski factory is among the newest and most state-of-the-art package printing facilities in the East. The capital investments made over the last 2 years have resulted in the placement of a full complement of packaging equipment and supporting staff. As a result, Bert-Co has been able to attract some of the top talent in the packaging industry to its sales team and they, in turn, have been able to gain quick entry into several value-add packaging segments.
